101 in 1001 Update

Back in February, I posted my 101 in 1001 list ~ 101 things I hope to accomplish in the next 1001 days. It's been awhile since my last update and I've made a little more progress....I will just give you the most recent updates on this post, but if you want to see the whole list, you can click here.

#5:  Paint the shutters ~ yep, no more country blue!!  I'll hopefully be posting about this soon, after we finish power washing the gunk off the siding.

#8:  Complete 5 more sewing projects ~ I now have 2 projects finished, the latest being these pillows...

#21:  Have 10,000 visits to my blog ~ I hadn't checked this in a long time, so I clicked on Google Analytics, which I first installed on 2/1/11, and almost fell out of my chair when I saw I've had over 26,000 visits!!! Holla!

#26:  Make or get a growth chart ~ we made one (here) and I looooove it!

#35:  Make at least 40 recipes from The Pioneer Woman's Cookbook ~ I'm up to 10 or 12 now and they have all been delish!

#85:  Paint the porch swing, or determine if we just need to give in and get a new one ~ we decided that yes, it was good enough to keep and turned it in to this sweet thang....

Yay for progress!
And one more to announce....
#18:  Host a giveaway on my blog!!!!!  Yep, check back later this week for my very first giveaway!!!!

  4. Aren't those recipes great!!!
I've been loving that growth chart. My kids are grown, but I'm thinking about making it and adding the info from their baby books!!! Is that cheating??

  5. Your growth chart is on my list, too (as I've mentioned). And I'm super excited because it's my very next project. I came across a house that had just been torn down and snagged the perfect size board for it! I threw it in the back of the minivan and ran. Haha. I'll be sure to post my version when it's done. Thanks again for the inspiration!!
